PTO Meeting January 8, 2008

Secretary’s Report:Stephanie Pauley

No meeting in December

President’s Report: Tina Melvin

Old Business:
Mrs. Oberfield’s Class and Mrs. Fitzgerald’s classes won the food drive.

New Business:
Voted on purchase of indoor recess items $40 per recess teacher (14) Create a donation form for teachers to fill out their wishes, choice of Target and Walmart, was approved.

Spring fundraiser:
Discussion on what type of fundraiser to have. Silent auction, lunch, bring in vendors and charge a fee per table ($25)

Selling vinyl car window Conger Colts stickers.

Having the Jack Hanna Zoo animals come to the school, 2 separate assemblies, May 30th, voted and accepted.

Spring Book Fair:
Hold on conference nights February 12th, and 19th. Coordinate volunteers for this bookfair.Will be held in the Library. Setup on Friday the 8th, tear down possibly one full day after conference night. Preschool – 2nd grade $4 vouchers, 3rd & 4th $6 vouchers, voted on accepted.

Vice President’s Report: Paula Eyerman

Nothing at this time.

Treasurer’s Report: Matt Williams
Fall fundraiser brought in $3,080.15 and Secret Santa brought in $352.90 $3,422.00 is fundraiser bring in to date.

Current budget balance is $8,454.19

501-3C- $750 will be paid to IRS for the filing of this form.

Volunteer Coordinator:Mandy Stabley
12th parents bring in food for teachers conference night, and conference night 19th, we will purchase food.

Parent Volunteer for Reading with children one on one.Sent forms around for volunteers.

389 students at this time total enrollment at Conger Elementary.

Market Day Report: Karla Padgett
We made $393 in December. Market Day pickup is January 29th6: 15-7:15 pm.
